Anniston Avenue Elementary, Gulfport, conducted a successful Jump Rope for 
Heart event on February 17, 2006.   Gary  Wilson,  jump coordinator, agreed to
dress in a gorilla suit if the student's raised more than $15,000.   The
student's raised $20,040, which  resulted in Wilson fulfilling his promise. 
Pictured above, from left, Haleigh Smith, Gary Wilson and Olivia Buckman.  Olivia
raised $1,408 and Haleigh raised $1,179.  Olivia and Haleigh were the top
students and were the first students to raise over $1,000 in the history of
the Anniston Jump Rope for Heart program.
